The new glass/carbon limb AR-6 Stinger II "PRO" delivers significantly more kinetic energy than the standard bow of the AR-6 Stinger II.
A notice:
The draw weight, in this case 90 lbs, is not a sufficient indicator of the performance of a crossbow's bow!
Many factors, such as the length of the acceleration distance, the efficiency of the bow, the spring characteristic of the bow, the weight of the arrow, the weight of the string and many more have an impact on the energy that the arrow gets transferred when it is fired.
Depending on how heavy the arrow is and how often the string is twisted (this shortens the string), this bow on the AR-6 Stinger II delivers between 18 - 21 joules of kinetic energy.
Danger:
The "PRO" limb with 90 lbs is not suitable for everyday training purposes!
Rather, it is a throwing arm that was developed for special areas, e.g. for particularly long ranges or for defense.
Only use suitable and sufficiently heavy (>10 grams/154 grains) arrows with the 90 lbs bow, such as the steambow bodkin arrows, hunting arrows or war arrows!
Due to the weight, the blue Steambow practice arrows are only suitable for the "PRO" limb to a limited extent and put a strain on the tendon and limb end caps.
Arrows that are too light stress the material like a dry shot and quickly lead to cracks in the end caps.
Please also note that the "PRO" limb leads to higher wear of the tendon even when used as intended.
Damage caused by dry shots, arrows that are too light or due to lack of maintenance are not covered by our guarantee!
In addition, the "PRO" limb is unsuitable for the AR-6 Stinger II Compact, since the force required for cocking must be applied directly and this limb is therefore usually too strong.
