The NEGEV 7 (7.62X51mm) Ultra-Light Machine Gun (ULMG) is the latest state-of-the-art model of the battle-proven NEGEV family.
Designed considering the advanced concepts of the Next Generation Squad Automatic Rifle (NGSAR) program along with Israel Defense
Forces (IDF) up-to-date operational needs, it successfully retains the NEGEV’s reliability while offering a substantial weight reduction.
This extremely lightweight platform considerably improves users’ mobility and target acquisition capabilities; combining a large caliber
with a high fire rate, the NEGEV 7 ULMG significantly increases lethality and survivability and enables efficient penetration of walls and
light-armored vehicles. The NEGEV ULMG is one of the lightest machine guns with a semi-automatic firing mode that offers enhanced accuracy and effective
support of Close Quarter Battle (CQB) operational scenarios.
Safety and reliability are never compromised; the ULMG model preserves the robust and reliable mechanisms available in the standard
models of the NEGEV LMGs along with all their safety features.
The NEGEV ULMG was tested to withstand extreme environmental and adverse battlefield conditions, including mud, dirt, sand, rain, and
snow.
This ultra-modern and newly introduced weapon platform is already in ongoing evaluation by the IDF and several other selected
